EDI is providing design consultancy for the club, specifically the layout for four entirely new holes overlooking St Ives, which may be required if a proposed quay development project goes ahead.

The historic links at West Cornwall were first established in 1889. The challenging course was where Jim Barnes learned to play the game, before setting sail for the United States, where he won the first two USPGA Championships in 1916 and 1918, before going on to win a US Open in 1921 and the Open Championship in 1925.
