The Wisley | Surrey

EDI were commissioned by The Wisley, one of the World's most exclusive golf clubs, close to London to design and realise a state of the art short game academy.  

Working closely with the Club, namely Director of Golf, Jason Hall, Denis Pugh and then CEO Wayne Sheffield, we conceived a 3000sq/m chipping and putting academy which sits directly behind the performance centre for the range. EDI were asked to explore new zones and to provide all necessary short game shots for member improvement.

The Wisley, with three loops of nine holes designed in 1991 by Robert Trent Jones Jr., is close to London and the home course to many of England’s foremost touring pros. Demand for outstanding practice facilities is therefore very high.
